Airflow hole drilled out to 1.6mm (1/16)
30g Kanthal
2.5mm Silica U-Wick
9/10 wrap micro coil around a 1/16 drill bit

now why didn't i think of something like that? lol.... wow good idea...? is that about 1.0 Ohms? how does it vape?
mighty long pos. leg there...!

Yea I put some long legs on it to bring the 1.8ohm micro coil as close to the air flow hole as possible.

Vapes like a champ!

That's one of the many beauties of micros. You can do just about anything with the legs, and other than helping fine-tune the resistance, does not affect the coil at all.

Interested in trying this on my AGA T2. I was thinking of using eckowool I don't have the post though I took mine off so I will probably not do a micro coil. Eckowool 3mm should work I hope.

can anyone share the sizes of the holes in the aga t2? i have 3mm silica and cotton, really wanting to jump on exile's build but i dont know if the silica will work...

another idea i had was to try folding the silica wrapping the coil and cutting one part down to the coil and running the other end into the tank... this is what xobe was talking about right?

also thinking about just running a plain micro coil with cotton...

any and all advice is greatly appreciated...
