I placed my order the other day and cant wait to actually get it. Im new to this vapor stuff but im learning something new every day.

Im currently using a 510 and have not had any problems with it. What I want to know is why do you recommend the 510 atty? I did pick to have the 510 put on my SB but im starting to think twice about that, the reason why is because I read on the forums that the 901/801s seem to work better with the higher volts.

I have not tried a 901/801 so I really dont know if im missing out on something or not but I really like that the 510 is easy to draw on. I really would like someone that has been around for awhile to let me know if I made the right choice picking the 510 atty for my SB.. Thanks in advance

Tom

IMO there really is no right or wrong choice when it comes to vaping. There is only what works and what doesn't work for the individual.

I have been a 901 & 801 guy for awhile now. I just couldn't see how those itty bitty 510's could possibly stack up to the performance of what I had been using. I finally bought a 510 to just prove iot to myself.

Man, was I impressed with the performance of the 510. So now I am really looking forward to using the SB with the 510. I may order the 801 attachment just to have some variety.

In conclusion, for me, the 510, 901 and 801 all work for me. And that is a good thing.

I agree with Gadget - the 510 attys handle the 6 volts quite well.

The 510 atty is still my favorite atty as my main vape, with the 801 coming in as a second preference.

I think you'll be in for a sweet surprise at how well the 510 atty works with 6 volts. Just make sure you keep them wet (without flooding them of course).

Its funny, I never liked the 510 attys- with my 510 starter kit the vapor was so inconsistent. With a fresh cart and a fresh atty- it would be great for a hit or two, then it would be terrible. I got my SB with the 801 adapter and I have found myself using the 510 atty more than the 801. I think 6v brings out the performance in the 510.

edit: also on a side note- I was really tentative when using my attys on 6v- I was scared I was going to fry them immediately. That is not the case at all. I have been power vaping this thing and I have't killed an atty yet (knock on wood- now that I said that I'm screwed) but I make sure the bridge is wet and now worries I vape like I would on a 3.7v

So, if I use the 18650 3.7 volts, I can use the 510 and 901 atty's??? By the way, I love the SB.

Also I like the fact that I can stand it up and now worry about the juice leaking out on my tables....... is it ok to have it standing up on it's base?

Absolutely! Standing it up is part of the design :) That's why the bottom edges aren't as rounded as the top.
