Hello.I have been using my silver bullet for 5 days now at 6 volts with 2 tenergy rcr123 3 volt batteries.I have already killed a regular 510 atty and a HV 4.5 ohm atty!I am keepin it wet and trying not to take too long of inhales. What am i doin wrong.Seems most people with this device say their attys last forever and have no problem at at 6 volts with them:unsure:

ummm, I never said that. My 510 attys (2.4 ohm) lasted 1 or 2 days. Didn't do to many of those. The 901's that Ron sells faired much better going about a week or maybe even 2. I ended up going to the KR808D1 cartomizers. Basically impossible to burn those out. I'd use those until they got too yucky or clogged up (never thought it worth while to take the effort to try to clean them). I have a tendency to run things way too dry before refilling or switching to a full one so, yes, there was a lot of burnt in the ones I dissected.

I would do cartos most of the time and occassionally drip with the 901s.

I don't see any way to point blame to the sb! It is merely a housing....there are many different factors that can change everything, it took me months and months of learning to find my happy place. I personally think if one so choices to go down the 6v route they are subjected to there own demise? With that being said...I only use 6v when vaping on my many silver bullets. I dumped the tenergy a long time ago, I was having to many issues. I believe my first atomizers I bought from rob lasted a mere 10 months! right? what a crappy atty! ha. I popped it because a didn't realize I had a 3.7 and a 3.0 aw in side....oh well! I been vaping for about a year straight...started in 08 but became victim to the all around bad ... of "smoking everywhere" phenomenon! I have sinced dumped the 510 atty and have been a supporter of the 801..or 316? I was missing being able to "taste" the liquid. I think after all I have said there is probably not one informative bit of information you can use....but I was bored! good luck to you sir

dr bud,

Grab yourself some better HV Attys, try Ikenvape.com Issac has some very good HV Attys all the way up to 5.2ohm, you can also PM him and he will help you out. I have 2 SB's and use HV a lot up to 7.4 with 2 AW 3.7 Batts and the 5.2ohm Attys is Da Bomb. I also just purchased Terminators from Notecigs I believe it is,, from Mike the guy that makes the Buzz, these screw on your SB and then you can regulate your voltage, I highly recommend these as you can dial in any Atty or carto now with these VV units and it turns any HV device into a Variable Voltage device and on the SB's it is an awesome extra and a must have for me, I can't live with out these little VV extras now and every Atty & Carto is now dialed in perfect to it's sweet spot

Ya the 306 are pretty nice Pudgey :p We should get some regular 306's in soon the only ones we carry are the Cisco LR 306.

Typically for those that dare to go to 6v (**Insert regular statement**We don't recommend using 6v on any of our devices) the steps you want to do is as follows:

Steps:
Step#1 Drip 2-3 Drops into your atomizer
Step#2 Take 3-7 Drags, depending on how long you inhale.
Step#3 Want to use again? Goto Step #1

Don't:
-Use Cartridges
-Dry Burn
-Take 10000000 second drags
-Push the button for 5 seconds then drag

Dos:
-Use a Drip Tip or an Empty Atomizer Mouth Piece (the ones that come on new atomizers)
-Put liquid in to the point where you almost have liquid spewing all over the place ;P
-Drown those atomizers

Typically I get a good 1-3 months out of an atomizer on 6 volts. Keep an eye on those atties, make sure not to let them stay too dry. And happily vape.

There's a learning curve with the higher voltage vaping you will get it eventually :)

Hope this helps a bit ;)

With the Terminator you can change atty's correct? The atty is not built into the device?

I'm back:) So I am getting about 2 weeks out of my attys now at 6 volts on my SB.So its gettin a little better.Using HV 3.5 attys. So will keep trying other options. So far I have found my tenergy batteries to kinda suck.Got one set that was DOA and 2 other sets that seem to be hit and miss. Also when I press the button on my SB for my second two second hit it seems to stay on for another second? Is that the atty causing that? And is it possible my batteries could have something to do with my rather short atty life? Thanks for any replys!
