Silver Bullet/battery issues

I got a used sb from another member last week but now on vacation it has died on me. I took it on my trip and after a day of flying I assembled it and it died after a few minutes. I charged the batt fully and tried again. It worked for two drags then died. I am using the aw batt that came with it and boges. I only.have the one batt so I can't test it but does this sound like a bad batt?
When I put the same carto on my ego they fired no problem. On the sb I got a very quiet sizzle then nothing after the first press. I really hope it is just a battery issue Help?

It might be the battery. Try and look for another battery where you are and try it. Hopefully its just the battery.

My bet is it's the center post. Some cartos/attys push it down and the connection gets bad. You just need to pry it back up a bit to get it working again.

It sounds like a battery problem to me, but I'd post in the Altsmoke forum, they're the experts on the SB.

90% sure your batt's are either dead or about to be, you should always have a spare with you , if not its either switch going bad - try to press it harder or atty center post need adjusting - get a knife and insert carefully under the center post and raise it just a hair .

I spoke with Alt-Smoke when mine did this and it was the center post. Try what I said. The switches on SBs are rated for a huge number of uses and very doubtful it is failing. Could be the batteries but I would bet money on the center post. It is a common issue now with all the different atty/carto specs.

Well I messed with post but no luck. Everytime I put the batt back in I get a quiet sizzle then nothing. I think it's the batt. I know I should have spares but I bought the SB the day before my trip and didn't have time to get a second battery. Thank goodness for my egos! Thanks!

Ok, it's got to be batt too weak probably dead. Silver bullet is a solid device, I never had any trouble with the ones I got.

i had this exact issue (swap everything and get a two second fizzle, then nothing) 2 months ago, Chad said to rap the button (hard) a couple times with a knuckle. but my hands are beat up so I used a bolt (it was nearby) and smacked the button hard like five (ish) times and its been fine ever since.
my bsb is almost two years old and i couldnt believe it, but it worked and its still working great!!!

I rapped the button pretty hard a few times but got the same result. I have some batteries on order and should have them Monday. Hopefully that will fix my bullet!

Do you have a voltmeter to test it with?

No, I've been on vacation for a week. I'll pick up a multi meter when I get back in town tomorrow. I've got some life po rcr123a's that I've never even opened, maybe I'll use them to test. I've got some hv attys gathering dust

I hope it is only a batt issue for you. I got a Silver Bullet and have had ZERO probs with it. It has been mentioned that the connection could be bad, check with the altsmoke guys!
