In your bushes, watching you undress
and what kind of programs were you using to put that together....you have a great talent with a camera....

Much appreciated :)

I limit myself to only slight cropping (rarely needed) and sharpening. If anything beyond that is required, I pitch the picture. I'm 'one of those' that feels if it didn't come out of the camera that way, it's cheating.

It'd be nice to have an image with an adapter attached, and with the long stick end showing so you have a true image of it.

But my 510 won't look like an 801 or 901. The SB is mine, not given to me as a sample, so I could only shoot what I had.

Now could I have shot my 510 atty attached? Yes, I did so with my Prodigy images, but let's face it... the SB's beauty is in the unit, not so pretty with an ugly black atty/cart attached. These were shot as beauty shots, not catalog images.

I do see your point of course, I'm just stating my reasons to help you understand the choice I made :)

And one last one:

For this one, I zoomed during part of the exposure.

All images were shot with a Canon 40D, Sigma 17-70 and fluorescent lighting through softboxes. A little sharpening and dust/scratch removal in photoshop.

NICE!!!!! thank you for your work! Now get out that draft table!!:p

Not to mention what Bandit didn't say is he has a great eye for lighting. You can take great pictures with a camera of lesser value/quality if you have the right lighting. The one thing (and this is just my opinion) if you don't have the raw talent for spotting a good photo op then I don't think it really matters what kind of camera you have. Bandit you have a great eye. I agree with you that using (even though I own the adobe suite) photo editing seems like cheating. I wanted a Nikon so bad. But I settled for my Canon and never looked back. Then again I don't have your level of talent.

Rob...I am salivating just waiting for my sb.
