Sometimes a simple mod hits the spot....extra .999 silver wire and mechanical switch from brass screw posts (silver tipped at contact). I wonder if taking the on/off switch out of the circuit will make any difference....dunno?

....got NO idea...

I have a bunch of the silver wire that I use as no resistance for the Iatty so I figured....what the heck...let's see how it works.

I posted that as a joke, but that's what gets some of the rookie mod makers, circuit resistance.

(and no, I'm not calling you a rookie )

Tact switches, small wiring, springs, poor connections, etc.
Each milliohm costs you about 2.5 millivolts. Doesn't sound like much but a 100 of them make a difference.

That should put your switch head and shoulders ahead of the mechanicals usually shown here.

Pounding a chunk of brass against a battery terminal ain't exactly good switch design.
