MistressNomad was good enough to explain that The atomizers for 901's will fit on a Kr808D-1 battery without an adapter. Being as I am profoundly impatiently waiting for my new best friend in the making to arrive, (Vapor King XL) I am wondering if this is the ticket to be able to drip? I want to try different juices and am now aware that carts may not be the most direct route for that specific use. Seems like one needs a quick methodology for sampling.

Sees candy is much easier. Yes I am the one that puts the ones back with the bite marks in them.

Thank's so much.. OK cool. Now to find the atty and adaptor. Forum vendors, here I come.

No adapter needed. the 901 atty threads match the Kr8 batt threads perfectly. All you need is an atty. Although, I would also recommend a drip tip. If you don't want to use carts, tailpiping an open atty can get pretty hot on your lips.

If you just want to try it to see if it's for you, you can just get an atty. Use an empty cartridge (no filler cup) and drip some on the atty. Then you'll have to replace the cartridge. I've also read about people using a drill on a cartridge to make the hole in the end bigger so they can drip through that.

When I first started I used the empty cartridge method. It's a cheap way to see if it's something you want to pursue.
