Simple vaping joy (maybe not so simple for some)

Just a thing I feel like I need to share, it's been a while since I've put a thread up. I've been exclusively dripping for roughly two weeks now, mean while my kfl+ has been sitting idle, after a nice thorough scrub'n, coilless and and unusable. I finnaly decided to pop a coil in the sucker, and honestly, I forgot how nice it is to just pick up and vape. No drip, not constantly checking for dry wick, no dry hits, it's been a nice reunion with the kfl+.

I mean don't get me wrong, I love dripping, I have my igow set up perfect for my taste. But, especially while driving and at work, the KFL is so much simpler, and I forgot how great the taste is. Plus, sometimes dripping can be a little much for me, in the sense of so much throat hit getting annoying after a few weeks worth of it. But, I still looove that throat hit from dripping.

Yup, everyone has a different idea of 'simple'. I consider a dripping atty one of the simplest devices out there to use, but of course you have to drip. Now, the dripping process is just about as simple a thing as anyone could ever do, right?

Wrong LOL, it is for me, but not for everyone. Then there's wire, wick and cleaning. Not everyone considers that simple either.

I agree with KODIAK, there's nothing I can think of that's simpler than plain cartos, but they don't do it for me as a good enough vape so they're out for me. My minimum requirement is a rebuildable that I can set up as I wish.

For me a Reo and a dripper is a simple enough setup and is also one of the best vapes I know of. Once a month I take the atty, battery and bottle out and wash the Reo in hot water. Takes me a bit less than 10 minutes and I'm vaping again. Replace the dual coils about monthly. Takes about 10 minutes. Depending on the juice I'm using I get 15-40 ML through the atty before I need to dry burn it and every second time I replace the wicks. Takes me about 5 minutes.

Works for me, but as I said everyone is different and in the end the most important thing is to stay off the stinkies :)

I've been quite stuck on my 4nine clone and a RDA combo for the last few weeks, as well. But I actually popped a fresh coil and wick in my KFL+ last night and filled it with some California Blue. I was missing the Provari, so I wanted to travel with the tank today.

Dripping has been fun. And going out, drip 8 drops in my TOBH clone, then taking a few tokes until dry; was akin to me having a cig. So it brought back a bit of nostalgia for me, if that makes sense at all. :D

Damnit Ryedan... stop these REO testimonials. :) I've been wanting one and thought my mod quest was over.

I've seen probably every Youtube clip on these things and the more I watch the simpler and more "sensible" they appear. Partial to the Mini myself. Just not sure I could ever go back to something non-regulated.

call me a weirdo if you like but i have a reo that ive been dripping with for the last 4 weeks or so, i dont have a problem with being able to drip whenever i like, and for a few month's before swapping i would only fill the bottle with about 1ml or less of juice so i could change more often, it's kinda funny how i went to squonking cus i got fed up with dripping, the only differance now is that i use widebore DT's that i can drip straight through rather than taking off the cap :)

LOL KODIAK, well I'm not a Reo fan boy by any stretch, I just tell it like I see it for me. The good thing with Reos and Provaris (and other well liked mods) is that if you buy one and decide you don't like it you can sell them and not lose much money. Snag one from the classifieds and you'll probably only lose the shipping cost.

The non-regulated thing is a big deal though. I was mostly vaping a Trident on a Nemesis and loved that before I switched so that was not an issue for me. The Reo gives me dripper performance with tank convenience, but it's still a mech mod with all the down sides that entails.

IMO, make the most of what you're vaping now and if that satisfies you stick with it. If you end up still looking for something more, consider your options.

Vape on my friend :)

Whatever works is good SLIPPY_EEL :)

I used to have three or four needle bottles with different juices on the go at the same time and mix and match into my Trident. I don't switch flavors nearly as often these days with the Reo but I still sometimes drip into it through the DT.

I also keep a few Reo bottles with different juices filled and switch as I feel like throughout the day. It only takes a few seconds to make a switch.

Works for me ;)

When I first saw the Reo I wasn't all that impressed, but the more I looked into them the more I got the appeal. When I finally broke down and purchased one, I really got the appeal. As far as being unregulated, I personally have an aversion to most mechanicals, but given the Reo's design, I'm not worried about catastrophic failure. The mod itself is built like a tank and no matter how the battery swelled and vented, there is plenty of space for gasses to safely escape. Combine that with the fact the spring will drop if it gets hot, the likelihood of that happening is pretty small.

The Reo is dead simple and that makes it perfect in my book.
