Hello,
I realy appreciate the fact that you gave me credit for the design.
Also very glad that you go in production since it was not possible for me to do so.
Looking at your website you seem to be an "artisan" that's also a thing that make me glad.
Your list price is in the good range of the value, perfect!

So good luck, do a good job and I'll be glad to refered to people to you!

A lot of other person contribute in the inspiration, in particular I would like to highlight the works of "Asdaq"!

Just want to say that have modify my original plan cause it was large enough to be able to use a "terminator" attys.
Just need 1mm more.
So take care to check it before going into production.

I've been following the Shrinking Vamo for awhile. Loving it.

Question, however: I can't tell from the pictography.. Is the midsection press-fit like the top? Or, did you need something like a pipe-cutter or hacksaw to part controls from battery-space?

Thanks!

Hi, I supply them with the positive wire already soldered, the space for the thread is already machined , the picture was a trial piece that you see.

Thanks.

However I meant the tube disassembly, as shown in all the original posts, (by Tourlounette, I think). The question is:

Is the tube nearest the control-section is a press-fit to wiggle off, (like the top), or is it homogenous with the control-tube, (either welded together or the 'seperation line' is just a cut)?

The reason I ask is to ascertain the complexity of the mod and tools required: I know I will not attempt such a thing until I am desperate or have a replacement Vamo in the other hand ;-)

Hello, all you have to do is with the original Vamo: take the vamo with both hands in half and wiggle up and down so that the tube slides out in 2 halves, the battery compartiment is now ready for mounting. The other part, the control unit must be edited. You have to remove the bottom edge of the tube, this is thinner than the tube and is easy to remove. Than barn you the bottom smooth with sandpaper, and solder you the + Pole on the print head , isolate the solder, and you can mount the 2 pieces, control head and battery tube. I will shortly the necessary steps shooting and posting here.
