Check out the Kgo KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

12% off with 12forturkey

I'm assuming that's comparable to my Riva - all my cartos will work, i.e., 510 threads, etc? And, I saw this description:

"These batteries run at a higher voltage than most, instead of the3.3v to 3.7v provided by most eGo/Riva batteries these provide 3.8v under load with dual coils and over 4.0v under load on regular cartomizers"

If running at higher voltage (total newb here), does that impact the vape itself - i.e., does it make it hotter or more likely to burn a carto?

It effects the vape yes, its hotter and warmer. You can adjust with diffrent ohm attys/cartos. You can use what you have, the difference isn't that big to like fry them IMO

Do you like to use LR cartos? The KGO might be better for that.

Can you charge the KGO on the ego charger. I don't know about you but all the different chargers are driving me a bit nuts.

My mom lives with me and I have her KR808 charger, my 510 charger, my ego charger, my echo-e charger, my vv-ego charger.

The one thing I've run across with Rivas, as a carto user, is the tendency to have center contact issues, where you have to pry it up when changing cartos or putting on the charger, to get good contact. I used a half dozen Riva batteries, and Riva clones, they all exhibited that.

Maybe time for a Xmas present, as a long term vaper, step up to a mod?

I ordered some rare earth magnets that hairball told me about - (cheaper than adaptors). They came in the mail saturday. I'll let you know how they work. If they do, I'll send you a couple.

If you used Liberty Flights before, they offer a starter kit for the Riva 1100 but they call it as Riva UNC. The kit is $34.39 before tax or if you've still got accessories from your original kit, they will be interchangeable with just a Riva UNC battery. The battery itself is only $17.99 with the 20% discount (top left corner of LF's homepage).

Here's the kit: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva UNC

That would be cheaper than EVcigarettes if you don't factor in their free juice and drip tip.
