Can anybody recommend a decent affordable rta that is good for a single could build?

Well the kayfuns are popular, but I like the build deck on the flash-e-vapor:

You have the build deck - and actually you can put a 22mm topcap over that and vape it as an rda; or just leave out a couple of the items in the pic and you get an rda; and you have the tank on top, with wicking going down to the deck which is below the tank.

For comparison, here's how the kayfun types do it:

The actual deck is like a subdeck of the wider space, so much less room to work with.

Erlkonigin gets my vote for a single coil. I have a clone. Its my currant darling. I even put the Fogger in the box and its been there for a solid week now.

Out of my 5 or so heads, its the absolute easiest to coil and wick. Once you get the wicking down, it takes but minutes. and it gives a seriously warm and dense vape, at the slight expense of volume.

(Disclaimer: It had many issues coming from fastech, but they all got solved and as I said, its my darling now. But if buying for FT, be prepared to sort a few things out!!

I'm currently using a nautilus mini and a few K1's but getting sick of buying coils. I have watched a lot of videos on building coils and want to get into it, but I currently have an IStick so can't do sub ohms. I figured a single coil would be the simplest thing to start with and easier to build a coil over 1 ohm too. Thank you for all the recommendations, I may have to order a Christmas present for myself from Fastech :)

You can build any ohms you want; if you use the thick gauge wire you end up with low ohms; if you use thinner wire you end up with higher ohms and lower power requirements.

All my builds are over 1 ohm and run at typically 10 watts. One of them is a 5.6 ohm 32 gauge; another is a 2.6 ohm 30 guage; the other 2 are 1.3 ohm 28 gauge; all single coil.

That's why I was looking for recommendations for a single coil, I looked it up on steam engine and with 28 gauge wire I'd have to do 12-15 coils depending on id size on each coil for a dual coil and I'm afraid that would get a little tight, or go to 30 or 32 gauge wire. I have a Fogger coming in the mail too, so I will experiment with dual coils in that. Just wanted to find a good single coil also.
