Hi, I have a k100 with and igo-l on it with a sony 30A battery hole drilled out to 1.8mm. The problem i seem to be have is going under .7 ohms, i wrap my coil around a 1/16 drill bit about 8 wraps, and all my 0.5-0.6 ohm coil seem to be burning almost straight away, i use cotton through the middle which works fine at 0.8 ohms. The cotton itself isn't visibly burnt but i can taste it on the first or second drag. The coils also light up evenly from the center outwards, with no visible hot spots.
I've searched everywhere on the net and for some reason sub 0.8 ohm micros seem to be none existent. What i'm wondering is, is there a limit to how low you can make micro coils without having to go dual coil. It seems that maybe i've reach the limitation of what a micro can do and that it's just getting to hot.
Any thoughts Veterans.
P.S Sorry to the mods for not understanding that the post had to be approved and retrying a bunch of times.
