Sinus question

I sent a question to the 'ASK A VET' section the other day but it occurs to me that's a bit unfair as they are of needs probably extra careful in answering anything of a 'medical type' question and I doon't blame them ... Thought I'd just ask it here and I'm not looking for any medical advice at all. I would simply like to know if weeks after vaping any in here noticed a puffiness or wet swelling around the sinus areas especially under the eyes.

My avatar pic is how I usually look and my eyes are fairly sunken in . I am noticing full wet bags now and just wondering if this might have occurred to anyone else. I vape only clear nic with clear unflavored VG in a near 50/50 mix. as a 50 year smoker I suffer no headaches, no pains, no coughing, no sore throat nor stomach issues since starting vaping a little over 3 weeks ago. Just this noticable 'mushiness' in the sinus areas ... any one else ever experience this ?

I do get some puffyness but I do not attribute that to vaping. I attribute it to my living in Florida and being allergic to my cat that sleeps next to me.
Along with being allergic to whatever is in bloom certain times of the year.
Have you been prone to allergies in the past? Maybe something is in bloom where you live and it just coincided with your 3 week mark of vaping?

That's very possible Amraann. I do in fact suffer from acute Rhinitus for most of my life but the current puffiness has never occurred before even with seasonal blooms of some really nasty PA. growths . Cannot of course attribute it to vaping as the only thing to connect to it is the swelling started about a week after I began vaping.

But I'll tell you this, vaping has been a smoker's salvation to me and I'll never stop. (Although I vizualize some secretive comments passing between two old ladies as I walk by ... "Oh my ! That poor man must be like that whatizname guy ... the one with 'elephantitis' ... look at his huge face !" ..... "yes", replies the other lady ... "But isn't that a classy vaping pen he's using ! " ....

Maybe try playing around with your pg/vg mix and see if that helps? If your using one specific liquid flavor maybe try switching to another?

Also make sure that you are drinking plenty of water.

I did leave out the fact that it's not truly quite a 50/50 mix as I keep experimenting with 'food grade' 80 proof alcohol too in the mix ... heh ! ..Smirnoff ...
