I don't have that "Mobile View" option in settings. I'm using T-Mobiles G2. Selecting "exit mobile skin" when on the ECF website still doesn't work either.

You can try going into your browser settings. Go into advanced settings which allows you to make site specific settings. You may find the option in there to turn off mobile view. I don't have a G2 though so I can't be sure.

Alternatively you could download the opera browser from the android market. With the opera browser open you would click the big red O. Select settings>Advanced>User Agent> and select the radio button for desktop. This would have opera showing desktop view instead of mobile and you could view ecf like you do on your pc.

Thanks for trying to help but I don't see a browser settings either. I'll just wait until the forum fixes this problem.

Close to a week now,I understand rome was not built in a day, does anybody have a time frame on a fix for this.

Patience. Custom coding someone else's software can sometimes take a bit of time. Not to mention that it isn't the only issue on our coder's plate at the moment.

I understand, before I got stuck with this mobile view I saw something (facebook) at the top of the page so I knew that the site was getting some kind of change and I guess other updates also.

This works. Android's stock browser and Dolphin browser lets me view ECF how its supposed to. You gotta change the "User Agent' in the browser's settings to IE6. This lets you view pages like Internet Explorer 6. After that, you might have to refresh the page, or click the "exit mobile view" in at the bottom of ECF. My browser of choice is Opera Mobile, but doesn't work on it.

ah, i will see if i can find this:)
Fix for Android users:

When viewing the forum, click the android menu button and select more. Scroll down and select settings. On the item " Mobile View" if the check box is marked, uncheck it. Just for ha has I also then selected "exit mobile skin". But I'm now viewing ecf on my droid just as it appears on the pc. Of course changing this setting will effect your viewing of other sites as well-but if that is an issue you can recheck the box when you're done with ecf.

What is this android platform, and where do I get it? :?:

An Android Platform is one of those big mechanical arms you see workmen using to fix overhead faults. Also called a cherry picker. When the work is too dangerous for human workers, they have a 'droid go up there, maybe in high winds or with faulty high voltage lines. Hence, an android platform.
