The key here is you said "wheezy" and unless you have an allergy to pg (posible but rare for real allergy) the number one cause of that is high VG from my years reading this forum. I had those symptoms with VG at 50/50 and higher so I went to 70pg/30 vg and now at 80pg/20vg and no wheezing :) so try high pg and if that doesn't work high vg and maybe try using a lower power tank and minimize your juice intake (higher nic if you need it) and don't worry about clouds just go for flavor. My philosophy is listen to you your body it knows what it doesn't like. Also you have a voice in your head talking when you post lol:D

Hi David, thanks for the info... That's really interesting about just moving the ratios until it works ...

You are nearly chomping at the bit to get your 'mad scientist' goggles on, get your vials and eye-droppers out, your notebook and all the other mixing stuff and start this new project. You already have a name for it - My Perfect Base Mix. You really love this stuff, don't you? Oh well, it keeps you off the street and out of the bars. So, mad-scientist away, sweetie. Just try not to kill us!
...maybe I'll give that a try. ;)

Anyone else have to login every damn time you visit even with keep me logged in checked? I just had a great reply wasted because it timed out on me. POS ECF.

I used to get colds every year and a hacking cough from mid-winter to well into spring.
No colds in 4 years since I quit smoking using vaping.

DW is significantly harsher than saline.
Use saline for inhalation at 1/5 of the PG viscosity target.
I can tolerate about 10% PG.
I use 10% (PG based) flavor + VG nic + 3-4% saline + VG
That approximates 30PG/70VG - 25PG/75VG for me.

Be careful buying from Ebay. Some will try asking 5ml/200pc price for 3ml/100pc
200pc of 5ml vials should cost $20-$25 including shipping IIRC

Read about half way though the original post here, thought I should point out that we exhale just about everything except the nicotine because it's a little more sticky than everything else.

Hmmm, thanks for answering and for the half read LOL. Interesting concept you have there, exhaling everything except the nicotene... I've read lots of different ideas on this subject...

Oh boy, something new to research... You really need to stop...
maybe I'll look further into that.

I think it was @Kurt that said that vapor droplets are too large to enter our lungs' alveoli (where respiration occurs). I trust Kurt the (PhD) chemistry professor/researcher.

alveoli - Google Search

I clear my throat during the day (and esp when I lay-me-down-to-sleep) but rarely ever get any bronchial cough.

EDIT - Holy .... Kurt the black belt student/teacher that spins LPs. I learn something every day. I like records too @Kurt

howdy - and welcome

i don't have much of substantive import to add to what has already been offered - based on what you have stated, however, it seems you ARE on the right path

many newer vapers go through a coughing phase as their alveoli start to wake back up and shake of years of abuse, it seems - a rather active healing process for those buggers

keep asking questions, keep coming back and welcome!

And that is a Good Thing.

Else something like taking a Hot Shower would be Very Hazardous to your Health.
