Sizing of a 510 atomizer?

Hi All!

I am attempting to help my friend Jon figure out what kind of e-cig he was suckered into buying at the mall.

I read here on the forums that it could possibly be a 510. Here is the link of his atomizer and the vendor:

I had him measure, as it does look very similar to the 510s.
The threads are 1/4inch diameter and the collar above that is 3/8 in diameter.
The atomizer is 1 inch long..and the atomizer and battery combined is 3.5 inches.
Its a white battery and tan cartridge. They did sell him some cartomizers with it also.

Thank you for any help! He keeps going back to the mall for supplies, and they are ripping him off. An atomizer costs 50$, but today they gave him a "deal", 35$. This is the price they sell them on the website.
My 401 atomizers are 8$!!!

I don't know that a 510 will fit. I don't know how long an atomizer lasts for him, but unless it's about six months, that seems a bit ludicrous. For the $50 he spends on a single atomizer, he could buy any one of a number of e-cig kits coming with two of everything.

That appears to be a 4081 atty. No, the 510 will not fit. 4081s aren't bad, just don't buy the mall carts and other parts for it any more. They are available all over. In fact, goodprophets.com is having a sale for the next 15 min, and they have 4081 parts. code bdaysale=33% off

Honestly I wasted $120 on Blu kits when I started, never even used them. Don't feel too bad. I bet its a 4081 like the above post stated, I actually checked out a mall kiosk earlier this week and thats what they were pushing. They tried to convince me that my eGo was no good and to buy theirs for $100.

I guess if they keep lying about their product, they'll be fancy living in no time.

I suggested he print out the prices from goodprophet.com and show them how badly they are ripping people off. He was afraid he might slap them around with the rolled up paper....

It is just so wrong, any business that sells inferior ecig products or inflates prices to that extent should be targeted. People that are interested in stopping cigarettes shouldn't be taken in like that. It's such a young industry that businesses like that will turn people off of even the thought of vaping. When I was waiting for my joye 510 mega kit I went to a couple smoke shops in Pittsburgh and found one that did sell ecigs, a cheap brand for $70. The person behind the counter said, "That's the best brand you can get at the best price," I flat out told her "No it's not, I have one on the way in the mail that I payed half that for and it's a much better product, that's cheap and a rip off." It just makes me upset, being such a newb I guess I shouldn't get so "involved."
