I have been using a usb passthrough (Smoketip) successfully with a 901 atomizer purchased from AquaVapor (direct dripping). Today, I screwed on my atty to the passthrough and it started smoking, literally. It got super hot. I tried another atty, same thing. According to the Smoketip description, my passthrough is 5 volt. What kind of atomizer do I need and why did this just start happening now? I have read about high resistance, low resistance, etc. and do not understand all that, but it may have something to do with my problem. By the way, I screwed a cartomizer onto the passthrough and everything was fine, no overheating. The problem must be with the atty passthrough combination, but I don't know why this worked and now does not.
