Is it true that all the new ones are the crappy ones with the washer around the bridge? I hear they are leaky too.

I have one SLB 901 without the washer and it's the best atty I've ever owned. I've been using it moderately for the last three months and it's still going strong even after some brutal dry burns and cleanings.

I have some BE901s that are basically the same thing but the vapor production doesn't seem to be as good as the SLB.

Does anyone still sell the non-washer 901s? I'd like to get my hands on a few.

I use and like the 901's with the washer also. It seems to me that they last me longer then the ones without the washer. The 1st 901 atty i got had a washer and 2 months later is still going strong.Where as the one with normally last me 1 to 2 weeks tops.I use them with a 5v pt

The SLB 901's with a washer perform excellent at 4.5-5.0 volts. On a standard 901 battery they just don't cut it like the old style (no washer) atty's. They also work well on a KR808 battery which is an actual 3.7 volt battery. No adapter needed.

I use 6V and the washer ones are crap. The old style were wonderful, great flavor and lots lots of vapor, excellent throat hit. Lasted forever. They had washers, it was just a smaller washer.

The new ones, the washer takes up all the space from bridge to edge. The new ones leak like sieves. New cart, leak. 2 drops on the bridge, leak. I had to set my box mod on a folded paper towel anytime I sat it down just to contain the mess. I gave up. I went to 808 cartos.

I use mine at 4.5 to 5 volts with out leaking a drop. I also use them on a 808 max battery. No problems there either. I buy them from Value Vapor and they are five bucks each. At six volts I use a HV 901 atty as the standard ones burn out after a day or two at the high voltage. The only leaking I ever have incountered is when I over fill the cart. When I drip I put four drops directly on the bridge, again no leaking.

Mine look alot like the picture in mozzstyxx post. Are your atty's stamped with SLB on the battery end?
If your interested I'll post a link to Feel Life. It is a Chinese company that has 901 attys without a washer. If I remember right they were less than two bucks apiece. I have tried them with the five 901 kits I ordered from them. They work great with the standard 901 batteries, 3.7 volt mods, 808 batteries. At 4.5-6 volts they will not last very long.
Gotta go to a meeting, silly work anyway. Be a bit till I'm back.
