sliding carto in IB Tanked

Day 1 went fine with Boge 45 mm carto. Today I'm finding the carto to be sliding up and down in my tank. I assume now that changing the drip tip the tank needs to be attached to the PV or bottom held. In any event juice leaked out and now it gurgles and feels flooded. Not sure if I need to replace carto or it will correct itself.

Carto tanks are pressurized. They can do things like this sometimes. Best thing to do is to use a drip tip designed to help fill carto tanks since they prevent the sharp edges of the carto to damage the inside o-rings. For flooding, the best way to stop it would be to tilt the tank where the liquid is not covering the carto hole and blow through the drip tip into a paper towl. Just do it enough to get rid of the juice in the center air channel (but don't do it too much so that the juice gets blown out of the absorbing material... 3-4 blows should be sufficient).

Brand new my first IB Tanked and using cartos. Been using clearomizers since I started vaping.

Thank you it worked. I'm now using the IB tanked drip tip. You are right as it snapped into the carto.

I had my first booboo spill today with my ibtanked cuz I did not hold bottom caps properly when pushing carto down to refill tank. Oh so glad it only had a mil or so in it... lol. OPERATOR error... The o rings on tanks and ibt tips are amazingly tight... I appreciate that but goes to show ya gotta follow suggestions to get it right!

I've done that too many times LOL I need to stick to flanged cartos - I can't seem to remember when I have unflanged

It's easy to make that mistake. I'm using Boge cartos since IKV is out of the flanged cartos which I so much want to try.

That's the reason I prefer flanged cartos. Less prone to slipping through.
