Its a sigeleo lambo mod. And I am currently running a .8 ohm single coil cyclone atty on the mod so it can handle it. I don't have a mech mod yet, I mean its heating up but just very slowy, could the posts just be giving off a bad current or are they pretty teliable?

well the mod has a 4 amp limit. what voltage are you trying to run it at .
.8 would be 3.2 v maximum them the amp limiter kicks in. possibly shutting down the electronics. most rda/s are what they are if the post was bad it probably wouldnt fire at all

Yup, this is what I was thinking when I asked what mod you are using.

The issue is most likely that your mod is not able to output the power you need to run the coils the way you want. You are maxing out at 3.2 volts and that will be a pretty weak vape. The posts have nothing to do with it.

So, the issue is that you have a 3.7 (average) volt battery running a 0.8 ohm dual coil. That draws 5.3 amps. Your mod can deliver only 4 amps, which translates to 3.2 volts when you want 3.7 volts. Here's a Ohm's law calculator. Input any two variables and it will figure out the rest.

So, you need to either reduce the draw on the battery and change the coil design to compensate, or get a mod/batt combination that outputs enough power to drive your current setup.

Na dude, a different battery in your VV won't change anything. VV devices usually have an Amp limit, if you want to run an RDA you'll need to wrap your coils with a higher resistance like 2.0ohm then up you voltage to compensate.

Look at the ohms law calculator, put in your resistance and voltage you're running on the lambo, hit calculate, if its over 4 amps it won't fire

A mech has no amp limit and thus nothing stops you from pushing low ohm coils, but you need to know what you're doing and know your batteries amp rating so you don't push it too hard and cause it to fail.

The Lambo automatically defaults to it's lowest setting when the resistance is to low (amp limiter)
You could have it set at 6v, and it showing 6v on the meter, but the output would still only be 3v.
The PV was simply not designed for sub ohm vaping.

Yes liek he said, it begins to default to 3v and if you do feel ur battery getting hot just stop and rebuild the atty before something worst happens
