Just got some vape mail today, one of the items was the Slug mod clone, as reviewed by vapingwithTwisted420. It is a sweet looking wood mod. I just wanted to let everyone know that this clone is even better than appears in twisted's review. It looks so classy. I have a gold mutation x on it right now. It hits hard and is all copper on the inside. There are no vertical air gaps on it, which is something that Todd said looked funny on his review of the authentic. I love this thing and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique mech mod.

Very nice.

Where did you order it from?

I got it from rbavapor.com. They shipped it very fast. It is excellent quality, my attys sit flush (unlike in twisted's review), there are no vertical gaps (unlike in Todd's review), it hits hard, and it looks sweet. Twisted made it seem like the spring in there had an effect on the electrical continuity, but that is wrong. The spring only holds a copper tube in place and the battery sits in this tube. The switch is a lever and the far end on the inside touches the copper tube to make the circuit.
The two wood pieces connect perfectly. The guys who designed the authentic had a great idea, but this well-made clone seems to me to be a slight improvement for a fraction of the price.

It would look super slick if you gave that Mutation a brushed finish. ;)

Its not solid gold though, its 24k gold plated. I might be able to give it a brushed look with some scotch-brite pads, but it could possibly also turn my atty into another SS mutation x.
I have a good collection of mods and attys, and the mutation is the only gold one. It looks nice polished on my gold-colored tesla m2.
