Slurpy T3 Question

I've been rebuilding my T3 heads and it's going very well. One question I have is that about 1 in 4 rebuilds slurp liquid when drawn on.

Rebuilding those has a 3 in 4 chance of fixing it.

I'm currently using 2 mm silica wick (I don't care for the taste of even well-boiled cotton). I have 3 mm on-hand as well, if anybody wants to suggest using that for one wick or the other...

But since 3 in 4 work, it seems like there's a magic trick I'm missing here.

IIRC, the original is a 3 mm wick, with two 1 mm strands of flavor wick.

Maybe the 4th one you're getting anxious to finish and wrap too loose? If the wick doesn't "fill" the coil, leaks can happen. Or maybe too tight, so you you have to draw harder?
