If my husband is close to me when I vape he says he can smell it. It dissipates rather quickly and does not leave a lingering smell. So only if a person was standing very close would they notice a smell. I can even smell it sometimes which I never could smell prior to stop smoking. One for my first joys since I started vaping was being able to smell everything.

I vape in my office it's bout 8x10ft space. I get too work bout 2 hours before everyone else so I vape away in the morning. By the time the 1st person gets to work which is usually my wife she says the office stinks from my vaping so I think It'd be safe to say there are some residual odors associated w/ e-cigs. I figure since it is vapor exhaled it may dissipate quickly but will also fall and settle around you, it's not gonna just disappear ya know. To say these things produce no smell/odor is not 100% correct, there is some residual odor. Also when I get to my office in the morning I can smell a hint of vape in the room left over from the day before so yea, not totally odor free, but it's not that bad an odor anyhow, prolly depends what flavor juice ya vape also... Hope this helps, good luck....~Lane:)

My bf says I smell faintly like whatever I'm vaping, but that it smells nice. I thought they were completely odorless before getting one. That's just not entirely true. The smell is subtle. And "odor" is not a word I would associate with the smell. I would use the phrase "pleasant aroma". But I'm not going to tell you there is no smell to detect. It would probably also depend on what liquid you are vaping.

When I vape in the car with windows rolled up, I can smell it for a little while after I stop vaping, but I've not noticed any long-term aromas remaining. In larger more-open areas it seems to dissipate very quickly, but it's usually detectable for a few seconds if you're close.

At work I stealth vape and haven't had anyone comment on a smell At home my wife can smell a faint aroma for a couple seconds after exhaling, and I will chain vape while holding her on the couch, watching TV. If I stealth vape she can't smell it at all, even at that distance.

i vaped in front of my mother and grandmother and they were quite pleased they couldn't smell it. This gave me the opportunity to vape in peoples homes and cars who do not allow smoking and no one has minded at all. The only person who can smell it is my girlfriend, usually when were lying in bed watching movies (but she has the nose of a bloodhound)
