So, the Smileomizer I have been using for my main vape (Wowboy) seems to be interacting strangely with my Vapor Zeus.
When I am using the Zeus on automatic, the switch seems to click on and off rapidly while I am taking a drag. When I switch to manual and hold the button down, it does not do this - it just stays on till it hits the cutoff. I switched to another Smileomizer I have filled with WOW Watermelon and this didn't happen - it stayed on to the cutoff on automatic and manual.
The Smileomizer should still be within its estimated life (12 refills per V4L, and I am on refill 6 or 7), so I am wondering if any of you have thoughts on what might be causing this, or how I can get it to stop.
Thanks!

John, thanks for reaching out to us. I've had this happen on a Smileomizer using Peppermint. I got to about 8 fills before it would sputter on the draw. I tried drawing harder and I had the same thing happen. My first thought is that the coil is about to give and you may need a replacement. Different juices behave differently in the Smileomizers, especially at the 5V mark the VZ is at. My thought is that because of the higher VG content in the Wowboy, the coil is getting clogged at a faster rate. Can you tell me if you've tried cleaning it at all or are these just "top-offs"?

Welcome to the "stutter" draw. I've now experienced this a few times, to varying degrees.

One cause is that the smileo coil is clogged - you can try cleaning it
Another is that the smileo is over-filled.
And sometimes it just happens...

I had it happen severely with one smileo on my dual mode Zeus when it was on auto. I switched to manual and it worked fine for a few puffs then played up again. I switched it to an auto Zeus, wouldn't draw. Back to the dual mode on manual, worked fine, switched to auto mode, worked fine. Strange, but just happens sometimes.

Thanks for the replies, I have not tried cleaning it, I did start a new one and noticed the draw was much easier in addition to not having the stutter, so it seems like probably the diagnosis of the higher vg in the wowboy cloggin up/wearing out the coil a little faster is probably correct. That's no big deal, now that I know - I usually refill about 3ml per day with a syringe (easier and I can measure what I'm putting in), so with Wowboy at least the Smileomizer is good for about a week.
I've never tried cleaning a carto before, just toss them when they get clogged and start a new one. Don't have the time or the patience for boiling or soaking in alcohol or whatever it is people do.
