Hi there - fell off the wagon for a while, but since butts went up to over 10$ a pack here in Mass, I'm back! Anyways, I have been a medium manual DAV - 3mm tank guy which I love, but now I am reading about the Zeus and the smileomizers. Can I use a smileomizer with the manual DAV? Is it that much better than the tanks? I guess I would start there and then go to the Zeus. Thoughts? thx

The Smilemizer can be used with the Manual DAV. They really last a long time and are easy to clean. Just make sure to keep them topped off and you'll be happy. Easy draw and they are 2.5 ohm. Good luck.

I love the smileo's, but that is only MO. I use them with all of my DAV's, so much easier than a tank (IMHO). The Zeus is good for those who enjoy their flavors at 5V, I like mine around 4.2 so I have 5 DAVs and lots of smileo's. Some people find the DT off-putting, but I find that you get used to it. And others find they don't like they way their juice tastes. So, I would recommend buying one or two and seeing how you like them. I fill mine with a syringe, very easy to do, and off I go. No muss, no fuss :vapor:

Love the Smileos! So much easier than the tanks and no leaking! I make sure it is nice and full at the start of the day, then later in the day top it off again (usually about 10-15 drops for the regular size) and good to go until bedtime. LOVE THEM! I find they last me about 2 weeks before I replace them with a new one. (I went over 3 weeks once and got the burned taste) I haven't yet cleaned one, but I have started to save them instead of tossing and if I am feeling productive some day I might give them a cleaning and dry them out really good and use them again. But bottom line - for 2 plus weeks of usage, they are well worth the money even if you just toss them and don't reuse. I use them on my manual and auto DAVs.

And by the way, the best thing about this particular "wagon" is that you have a bunch of people here ready and willing to make room and even give you a hand to lift you right back on board if you slip off! :)

Totally understand about falling off the wagon, did the same thing narrowly avoided getting ran over the wheels but I back stronger that ever but with more commitment, knowledge. The advantage this time didn't have to through all the weak companies to get here, Jumped right back on with a strong company and community.

I started off with smileo's and then switched to tanks, myself I prefer tanks over the smileo's, I find the cleaner/truer flavor with tanks. But think they both have there pro's and cons.

Smileo's are easier to use and and more durable, can fill and throw in a bag or pocket and not be concerned of coming apart or leaking, you can turn the voltage on the DAV all the way up and work fine, and I do like the rubber tip on them, I can hands free vape with them, which is useful for when at work. But you can not see how much juice are in them, so need to make sure you keep them topped off, I have burned one for not doing this. I have successfully cleaned the smileo's with washing out with hot water, then a 24 hour soak in vodka, then wash again and let dry for a few days.

The tanks have to be treated lot more with care, I have pulled the tank with juice in it apart twice by accident, the last time I was cleaning my battery and was hold the tank and pulled the tank apart, lucky wasn't much juice in it. They do take a bit more practice to filling than a smileo, but once done it a few times, then it's pretty easy, just have to make sure you do dry hits when using a new carto. Of course you can see the juice, so easier to see when need to fill it up. I have also cleaned the carto's with tanks, only re-used 2, 1 was good, 2nd one started leaking straight away, but think tanks in the long run are cheaper, as only need to replace the carto when it's bad.

Due to cleaner juice taste, being able to see juice levels and different colors, I do prefer the tanks, but really is personal preference, as K9 said, just get 1 and see what you think, some people love the smileo's, some love the tanks.

Thanks, peeps! I ordered a couple to try them out. Maybe they would travel better than the tanks. The tanks are also good for trying out diff flavors since you can wash em out with minimal effort. Wish there was a thinnish hard shell case to put an assembled med DAV with a 3mm tank on it.

As far as the wagon goes - vaping is by far the easiest way to stop smoking but for some reason (usually alchohol haha) I drop the ball, then it takes months to get back on track. Hopin the new cig tax is the extra incentive to stay on the vape :)

Good to know that you can remove the mesh without doing any damage. Thanks for posting that!

You can use a sileomizer with any 808 threaded device, there is one thing they changed with them, they started putting mesh screens in them, I tried one with the mesh screen, don't really like it, I think that it changes the flavor of the juice I'm using in it, so I just take it out with a thumb tack and all is good.
