I have no high tech measuring devices so all the information Ive gathered is sensory.
I used a syringe to fill them, which I highly recommend. That way you get a perfect fill/top off every time and you never have to worry about burning or them leaking into your auto batt. I just leave juice in a syringe and whenever I need to top off I squeeze a little in until it floods, pull back on the plunger until the excess is gone and it's ready to go. It is very important to have a condom on the bottom of the smileo while doing this or the juice would leak out everywhere, they come with perfectly fitting condoms. I top off about once a day to keep it nice and juicy. Although that has prevented me from getting an accurate number of refills, so I have no idea how much juice I've put through mine.
I never got into cigars and I do not like the HUGE mouth piece on these. I think this is due to me being used to skinny drip tips. The Ming Vase are my preferred model, even the Kalabash were a little too big for my tastes. I havent quite mastered the bite technique it takes to make these feel right while vaping. I find myself just setting my lips on them instead of biting on them and it feels odd. Although when I do bite on them they are very comfortable. I am able to hold it in my mouth and vape away with no problems. I did remove the rubber tip off of one, thinking that whatever was underneath felt nice enough to vape on alone. I do not recommend doing this. It is not comfortable and after I put the rubber tip back on it was never the same. I definitely removed some type of adhesive or seal. It now spins around which makes screwing it on and off the carto somewhat difficult. I did see that there will be more styles of DTs for these in the near future, so I'm definitely looking forward to those!! I love that V4L is addressing my issues before I even mention them
I have only used one flavor so I haven't cleaned them.
Pros:
-Bigger than regular cartos, but just as easy to fill and vape
-Fit beautifully on the DAV and Zeus batts
-Comes in the same color as the Zeus batts (or black for the black DAV) for a very sleek look
-DT is attached so it won't fall off and get lost and it is rubbery so if you drop it it won't break
Cons:
-Cant use preferred drip tip. This is obviously a personal preference not a design flaw. This is how they were made, I just dont particularly like it. But I am eagerly awaiting the new styles!
I think this is the perfect remedy for those that like the mega cartos and the Auto DAV. I don't use mega cartos, so I can't really provide any comparison. K9, are you out there? I would love to hear your review on these in comparison to the mega cartos!
