► Smoant Knight Aio Kit; Introduction:
Boro AIO devices compatible continue to have considerable success on the market and always arouse a lot of curiosity among vaping enthusiasts.
Looking at the side profile of this new kit you can see how the different materials such as aluminum alloy and transparent plastic are assembled together in an elegant and skillful way, in fact on one side we find the battery compartment door and on the other side the door for access to the Boro Tank. The central transparent area has an important technical value, in fact it allows you to clearly see the level of e-liquid, but it also allows you to take a peek at the elements that make up the card and this is a very attractive aspect for the eye. The Oled display is positioned between the Fire button and the "+ and -" adjustment buttons, all the buttons fit perfectly into the pre-cut spaces of the transparent cover, the buttons are well arranged in an ergonomic way, they are precise and offer good tactile feedback. The bright 0.49" monochrome display offers simplified graphics and clearly visible fonts. The information it displays is complete and concerns; current mode, set power, last puff time, ohms, volts and 5-notch battery level. The power can be set manually between 5 and 90W with 1W steps at a time. With the classic 5 clicks you can turn the Mod on/off and with three clicks you can access the menu, then you can select the preferred mode between; VW, VV, DVW, TCR, NI, TI, SS. By pressing the "+ and -" buttons together you can lock the Mod when you put the device in your pockets or bag.

The bottom of the Mod has a generous footprint and this allows for good stability when standing, on the bottom there is also the 5V 2A Type C charging port, in these cases since the device is powered by a removable 18650, I always recommend recharging the battery with an external charger to avoid stressing the circuit too much. On the bottom of the Mod there are two recesses (not very visible) where you can insert a nail to extract both magnetic doors.

On the side we find the removable covers, on one of these covers there are two stylish openings that allow further visibility of the internal e-liquid level, the other removable cover is the one to access the 18650 battery inside the Mod, this cover has the giant writing "SMOANT".

Let's now see how to access the inside of the Mod for cleaning operations and for the main actions of replacing the cell or extracting the tank. The covers are well designed, however when handling the Mod the covers wobble slightly but not in a particularly annoying way. These covers are quite sturdy and are held in place by powerful magnets. The battery compartment clearly shows the polarities for the correct insertion of the cell, the negative pin (at the top) is regulated by a convenient wheel (removable) this allows you to fix the battery precisely, but also to insert the 18650 without the risk of damaging the wrap. Removing the battery is simple, and to do it correctly you need to unscrew the wheel at the top.

After removing the door from the side of the tank you can see the white writings regarding some information about the chipset, however to remove the boron you must perform the next operation that I will now describe to you...

    Smoant Knight Aio 90W 13.jpg

On the upper part of the Mod there is the small steel cup that also serves the function of keeping the boron perfectly fixed inside the Mod. As you can see the cup has two recesses that match the two fins on the base of the Drip Tip, this ingenious system allows you to rotate the drip tip to free and extract the boron from the Mod.

The installed Boro is designed to offer versatility and high RDL/DTL performance with generous coils and two different drip tips included. The cartridge is an all-in-one solution that combines ease of use and high efficiency completely removable for effective cleaning operations.

This cartridge features a convenient split high side filling system that makes it easy to refill the liquid without the risk of spills even with the tank inserted in the Mod and without the need to remove it from its seat. The tank capacity is generous, which means less refills during the day. You can insert up to 5ml of e-liquid which is really a lot. The airflow system is adjustable through a ring that allows for precise control of the draw, allowing you to easily switch from a tighter draw to a more airy one.

The Boro Knight is fully compatible with the K series coils. In addition, 2 new coils (K-4 / K-5) are available to allow you to experiment with the intensity of the vapor and flavor by teasing your taste buds. In general these are excellent Mesh Coils that allow users to customize their vaping experience based on their preferences of resistance and vapor production. The large heating surface of these Mesh K-Coils allows for rapid and uniform vaporization of the liquid, enhancing the sweet aromatic notes with precision. In addition, the effective regulation of the airflow allows you to further customize the experience, making it suitable for those who prefer a tighter and more concentrated draw, as well as for those who prefer a more open and airy draw or for those who love to make large clouds of vapor without losing the quality of the flavor. Even in this case, the mesh guarantees uniform heat distribution and rapid activation, the efficiency and duration of this K-coils (after vaporizing about 100ml of e-liquid) seemed really high to me.

Smoant declares that Knight Aio Kit is compatible with all Boro tanks and this can only please DIY lovers considering the great availability of regenerable-based boro on the market.

► Smoant Knight Aio Kit; Final Thoughts:
This is a versatile Boro device for both flavor lovers and cloud lovers. My impression of this kit is definitely positive, because it feels compact, modern and attractive thanks to its design. The device is lightweight, yet sturdy, making it perfect for everyday use. The transparent polycarbonate parts have allowed Smoant to save weight, while the good finishes and color options make it attractive and fashionable. In conclusion, the Knight Aio presents itself as an affordable device but packed with features and great customization potential for vapers of all levels.
