Smoant Pasito Mini

Smoant has a long history with the Pasito series, first the normal Pasito came out, then the Pasito 2 came out which had a 6mL tank and was compatible with RBAs and, today, in pod type we have the Pasito Mini , a device with 30W output, 3.5mL capacity and a 1100mAh battery, comfortable in hand and beautiful, let's move on to the images.

But not before thanking Chloe again for the opportunity to make these reviews!

Disclaimer; Nobody nor any brand is paying me to do this review, all you will see are my most sincere opinions, both the positive and the negative.

Packaging And First Impressions
IMG_9132.jpg
You know what I always talk about about how important packaging and everything that has to do with it is to me? If you think about it, the packaging is the first thing you see when buying a product in person and the first thing you see when it arrives at home, this is what I mean, attractive packaging, with an unusual but at the same time simple design, The device is presented to us in black and white, in the lower left corner some key features and little else, what more are you going to ask for?

IMG_9134.jpg

On the back we find the contents of the box and certain email and street addresses to contact Smoant in case of warranty or something like that. In addition, it is a detail that the scratcher is placed to verify the veracity of the product and in the lower right corner its color.

In the box;
1* Pasito Mini Device
1* Pasito Mini Cartridge 3.5mL
1* P-1 0.6Ω Coil
1* P-3 1.0Ω Coil
1* Type C Cable
1* User Manual

IMG_9135.jpg

On the sides they are kept simple, on both we find the name of the device and little else.

IMG_9136.jpg

When we slide the case we find a silver-colored box with some branding from the brand, when we actually open the box we find the device fitted in a custom-made hole and to the right a small compartment with the extra coil and the cable that also , It is customized.
IMG_9137.jpg

First of all, I would like to show you this small pamphlet where the brand explains how we should put the cartridge in and how we should vape with this drip tip. The first thing of all is that the cartridge has only one position since otherwise it will not detect it, the air inlet must be towards the button part and the liquid inlet towards the other side.

IMG_9138.jpg

Once we see and organize all the contents of the box, we are left with this apart from the user manual which, as you can see, the cable at the ends is white and with some Smoant branding and the cable route is red, I was quite excited even though it was just a cable since I wasn't expecting it at all.

Basically that's all the packaging, simple and to the point but beautiful, with a luxurious touch and includes the device, a spare coil and the cable.

Device Inspection
IMG_9139.jpg

The device on the front looks like this, the body itself is like some kind of alloy and the cartridge is made of PCGT. In addition, there are some kind of inserts in what is probably fake leather but they feel very good in hand , they have a very comfortable texture. I have to say that the device is quite heavy compared to others but I really like that. At the bottom we see some branding with some letters in some kind of alloy again.

IMG_9140.jpg

On the back it is more of the same but the pattern of the fake leather is different, it has another texture and we can see in the corner the name of the device with the metallic letters.

This is the side where the pod has to have the filling, in conclusion, the side without the buttons. I have to say that it is quite convenient not to have to remove the cartridge to refill it, plus it fits the tip of a 120mL bottle more than enough.

IMG_9142.jpg

On this other side we find the air inlet adjustment in addition to the two buttons and an LED indicator that I will show below. Something that I didn't like at all about the air inlet is that it is somewhat loose and susceptible to being moved accidentally, it would have added a little more resistance to this piece.

This device is activated by the button so no auto-draws which sometimes, are so comfy but at the same time, depending on the device they fail.

With the button at the top what we will do is the following;
5* Clicks to turn it on/off.
Hold down to take a puff.

The one below will help us change the power setting and we will do the following:
1* Click to enter setting mode
1* Click to cycle through the modes until you find the right one.

When we change the power mode, the LEDs change color and indicate the watts at which we will vape, being;

White - 22.2W (0.6Ω), 16.6W (0.8Ω), 13.3W (1.0Ω).
Blue - 21W (0.6Ω), 15.7W (0.8Ω), 12.6W (1.0Ω).
Red - 20W (0.6Ω), 15W (0.8Ω), 11.9W (1.0Ω)

IMG_9144.jpg

The LED light, in addition to indicating the power, will also indicate the battery of the device, indicating;

White 100%-50%
Blue 50%-5%
Red 5%-0%

IMG_9146.jpg

The charge of the device, as usual, is on the low side, being 5V/1A, somewhat low for the 2A standards that we find today but which will still fill the battery from 0-100 in approximately 50 minutes. .

Honestly, I would love to know what the small stripes on the side are because I have no idea, maybe something about heat dissipation? If anyone knows or has any theories, please don't hesitate to comment.

The cartridge, as usual, is connected to the body using magnets and only has one position, the one mentioned above. Thanks to the magnets and the structure that hold the cartridge, I must say that it is not loose at all. The coil that you see inserted has to go in that position, with the flat parts of it coinciding with the shape of the POD. As for condensation in this area, I don't know what Smoant does but I don't really say it one bit, quite impressed since I expected leaks or condensation.

IMG_9147.jpg

Here you can see what the cartridge filled with liquid looks like, it is still a tint but I notice it is softer than in the Knight Q, maybe I am lying but I don't think so, even so, I am still totally in favor of zero or very very light tinting.

This image is made simply so that you can compare two devices of the same style and see sizes.

Vaping Time

Well, starting with the 0.6Ω coil, as usual, I must say that in terms of flavor this device performs very similar to the Knight Q, but, oh lord, in terms of vapor, this is a machine, for how small it is and the power it has, you can get very good clouds with this. What stands out the most is the flavor and also, it doesn't swallow much liquid if I'm honest.

As for the 1.0Ω one, well, less steam although not much since the amount of watts applied is close and in terms of flavor, I don't find a big difference, I would go for the 0.6Ω one instead.

The air filtration I must say is spectacular, although the device has been used during the testing time with the inlet always open to the maximum, I must say that I have played with other options and they change the flavor slightly but drastically the puff, yes, Don't expect a true MTL puff with this device, it's something more for RDL or DTL even.

The battery life, more of the same, great, it holds up like a champ to everything you throw at it and also, it charges in 50 minutes so no complaints on my part in this regard, the 1100mAh battery acts as such.

As for power, the brand recommends the medium level, that is, blue, but I have always gone for white, the highest. The difference between watts is not big, but it may save you some battery time.

The refilling, as I mentioned before, is great, you don't even have to remove the cartridge to refill it, yes, I recommend removing it and leaving it straight if you are going to charge it.

Pros And Cons
Pros
Cons
High Liquid Capacity
Tinted Cartridge
Good Battery Life
No RBA Compatibility Like Other Pasitos
Nice Clouds
Outstanding Flavor
Good Looking Device

Conclusion
Smoant has been impressing me with its products if I have to be honest but, of the two that I have reviewed, I prefer this one.

It's bigger, even a little prettier, and the steam that the other one didn't produce is produced by this one here.

The flavor, more of the same, something top that I didn't expect if I'm totally honest.

And the quality of materials? Great, they feel good in the hand and seem durable.

In conclusion, I will honestly continue using it as a secondary pod system to my main mod since the flavor it brings out is quite powerful and the battery life is quite long.

A somewhat short conclusion but simply, I have nothing more to say about this product, everything has already been said.

That was the entire review, I hope you liked it, I loved doing it to be honest, any question or doubt, even constructive criticism, is accepted in the comments, have a good time vaping!
