60 watts, no more, would make it safe to use a samsung 30Q (AL85 stops working when battery hits 3.2 volts, so worst case is 60 watts/3.2/0.9 - the 0.9 takes into account an overhead of 10% for efficiency...
So yeah the worst case is 21 amps, which is right on the upper limit for a 30Q.. it's CDR is 20A, but for a last few puffs at 21 it will be fine. Point is, it's a 3000 mah battery

That's the best battery you'll get for little $ in a single battery 60w config. If you want to use the mod all the way, a sony vtc5A is the answer which would be asked of 29 amps at the most, and they can pulse at that safely. It will give you 500 mah less than the samsung at 2500 mah, but if you really are not going over 60 watts, the samsung is the way to go.
I don't know exact puff count at 60 watts wth a 300 mah battery but it sure would be an interesting test! Let us know how you go.
