It's possible that "stealth mode" was turned on, can you access the settings menu?

If the screen is black with nothing wanting to appear on it then you may as well pack up the unit and return it. My smok GS320 went that way after only 20 hours from initial turn on and I've noticed a few others complain about the problem with more than one type of Smok mod. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

My first alien went black after a couple of months & the shop would not refund it 
I have bought my second one though an it has been fine, this one is a version b. Wonder if version 1 has bad software? Cos this one reads ohms way better an I don't get the famous "ohms too low."
It's a really good mod so I feel sorry for you.

I do have 2 Aliens and they are working fine so I don't mean to dump on Smok as every manufacturer turns out a few lemons.
I two also but unfortunately the silver one won't display anything on the screen, yet displays the settings etc... fine & it actually vapes okay too! It's a good job I'm not the sort of person always changing wattage cos otherwise it would be useless. I am a bit cautious using it though as I get scared it could explode at any minute but then again I worry far to much...
Welcome and glad you joined. Could also try three additional avenues of inquiry:
Local Vape Shop -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
That right there tells me that it IS in stealth mode. Refer to your instructions to find out how to get it out of that mode. It's usually some button combo that does it that you probably did by mistake.
It's not in stealth mode, already checked. Can get in to the menu fine, and power it on an off fine etc... but there is no display of wattage, amp current etc. The shop I got it from though say it works fine, getting really fed up with them. I had to go to another shop an buy a complete new one
They have been absolutely awful service and no nothing about e cigs!
