between here and there
Ok so my colleague friend at work has figured this out...the battery on the right hand side seems to be too loose or something and keeps pushing the door open. He sellotaped a bit of paper around the top of that battery and the door fits perfectly! Not sure how good of an idea this is though...whilst it has solved the problem is this gunna cause me issues, i.e. the thing blowing up on me?! Here's a photo;View attachment 651833
I would think if both ends are free and clear it should not cause a problem. I would not put anything over either end. That way when you take it out to charge it does have some kind of tape over the end, you will need to remove to charge it.(I would think).
Are both of your batteries the same size?

Both ends completely clear of anything, it's just around the top of the battery (the plastic but) not the metal bit.

Both batteries same size, we have about 8 between us at home and none of them fitted. Until the sellotape!

That is weird. Smok should replace this. Have they responded to you yet?

No not yet, I don't expect to hear anything for a couple of days at least. I'll report back what they say.

On a separate note, anyone here got or tried the Snow Wolf mods? I'm looking at the mini 75W one.

I bought a smok alien and one week later the screen stopped working. I took it back to the shop and they gave me a new one . They said they come with a 120 day guarantee. Inside the alien box it comes with a 6 month warranty card. Someone should be able to help you. Best of luck.

My screen goes on the brink too sometimes but the shop are jerks, they said they'll have a look at it. Just send it the hell away it's not working! They are stressing me out, saying there's nothing wrong with it. The screen flickers an it's still dim, but they say it's not faulty?

Hope you've sorted it out Soph, this has been such a stressful mod!

Thank you :)

Well the shop I bought it from won't take it back, they're really good in there so I know if they could help they would. At least I'd like to think that! I don't fancy sending it to America without hearing back from them by email first, as it is technically working now I've taped it up lol! I'll just keep bombarding them with emailed til they get back to me! :)
