I was looking at getting a GX just for the vape time, just not decided on pulling the trigger for that one ,just yet.

I love my GX350, but the power is almost unnecessary unless you're really into cloud chasing. On both my 200 watt Kbox, and my alien 220, it was easy to find my sweet spot, but I still haven't quite found it yet on the GX350, although I've been vaping it at 110 watts mostly.

I do like to fog up the room every now and then but I really am looking for a mod that will give me a lot of vape time without worrying about charging up too often.
I know there will never be a mod that you won't have to charge batts for I would just like a mod to give me plenty of vape time.

I just got about 4 days out of my GX350, but keep in mind it's not my primary vape. But it still had good battery time, IMO.

That is all I want from my next mod is good vape time. As long as it can deliver that I still have the GX at the top of my list.

At least one extra pair of married batteries gives me all the run time I need. No problem while at home and if out of town for the day, I prefer to carry my extra pair in another duel battery mod......just in case.

So I just picked up a second Alien 220. This one seems to be version B. When using TC for SS, im having times when it won't fire at all, even if I leave it sitting for a minute. Im using 390 F setting at 65 watts. Anyone know what's up with this? My version A hasn't had this problem, and it doesn't seem to occur on VW mode.

I dont mean to alarm you but that is exactly what mine did a couple days before it stopped working all together. It eventually just started displaying "Ohms Too Low" regardless of the atomizer that I put on it.

Yeah, not the best for a 30mm tank, bit of an overhang.

How wide are these at the top? How much overhang will a 30mm atty have on one? Im looking at getting one, but worried that my 30mm Supreme will have more overhang than my OCD could live with...
A 25 mm will overhang just a tiny tad on the side, but so little that you'll not notice. 30 mm will definitely overhang noticeably.

Im not sure im asking in the right place, but here goes: got a new 1.2.1 alien, and when going into TC SS mode it's asking me for a number, and I have no clue what to put in. Can anyone help the stoopid TC noob? :D

If you build your own coils on Wire wizard | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators look under the results table for 'TCR in vaping range'. For example, a coil build using SS316L gives a value of 879 x 10(-6). This is .000879. Round to 5 digits.

i am having the worst luck.. got my long lusted after GM alien today, brand new sealed, must be a super early version as i have so much button rattle (+ and -) that it even does it when i simply lift the device from the table or put it down! I also have a massive after click/double-click on the firing bar. It feels so awful to use with every click, that i really won't use it. And of course, i asked the reseller his thoughts, he is a good guy, but i have a feeling he will say bad luck on this one, as the device actually fires and works. It gets even better, my G320 must be an alpha cause it too has horrendous rattle, but get this, the text on the screen is misaligned, so you can't see the info unless you are literally straight on top of the screen. Reseller says bad luck. This has massively put me off smok.. those two devices together are a not insignificant amount of money.. is it too much to just expect a straight screen, a solid fire bar and minimal or even no button rattle? Smok build quality is lower than $30 eleaf mods therefore they should be priced accordingly, rather than high end!

I love Smok products, but they have a bad habit of releasing betas that haven't been properly tested, then wait until there's enough complaints to release a better version. I won't buy a Smok product for at least 8 months after its release. And there are apparently places that still have first versions so people are buying them and having all kinds of problems, and making the assumption that Smok products aren't all that great. They really need to step up their quality assurance department before they release new products.

My Alien's paint started to peel off yesterday. 4 months old. I thought I got lucky.

I think it's from heat. It's peeling off at the top of the side opposite the fire bar, right below the tank.
I'm glad I got a silicone sleeve for mine.
Mine also gives wacky readings on resistance with new coils, sometimes as much a an entire ohm high... oh well.

Smok's devices have never been 100% accurate on reading the correct ohm.

Don't feel bad about the paint mine is at six weeks old and paint is starting to do the same thing only mine is carving an atty ring around the top. That is the only place,so far, that the paint is peeling from.

I've had mine now for 7 months. Paint started rubbing off the side opposite the firing button within weeks.

Me personally, it doesn't bother me now. The thing works and has worked great since I got it last November.

It bothering me is one thing. Whether I think it's right that, in the 21st century, it should happen to a product which costs well north of $50.00 is something TOTALLY different.
