I have been hearing that the new smok Groove is having some battery issues. Reported that it is exploding or catching on fire. Has anyone heard anything about this at all? Please, if you have heard or know anything about this issue please let me know. My best friend just opened a B&M shop and is selling them. Would like to be able to let him know if they are safe to sell or not. Thanks in advance for your help.

Good, shame though that such poor planning and Quality Control ever made it out of door to begin with. Smoktech is big, I would think that someone in the organization would have voiced concern over this product, apperently testing, quality, and safety aren't a big concern to them.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the business model of China-made e-cig products. They believe in a disposable product over one that is safe and will last. They seem more interested in a quick buck than having concerns about safety or product longivity. There is very little research and development done, no beta testing. Or rather, the first customers to purchase a new product are the beta testers.

That's my rant on the situation.

Exactly! It's amazing how little thought goes into some of these products. Double sided tape on a non insulated battery inside a metal coated case?! ....!
