Similar sizes, but different layout for information. Probably different connections as well.
Maybe you can find someone willing to sell one cheap. Batteries died, or afraid of quality, or are disappointed with TC.

Don't take that the wrong way, I have an m80 and m22. Love them both.

I did just see m80's on sale for -$50 yesterday. I bought mine B&M for $75 months ago.

I'll give it a go.

I've emailed SMOK asking at least for part model / number of the display but no reply as .
There are some displays available at Digikey but I've no idea which one to go for.
Also I'm not entirely sure how do those displays work? I mean if do they display any info provided by chip? If they do, any display should do as long as the connecting tape has same connections. I don't waste money just to find out that it doesn't work.
I'm glad the M80 was in wattage mode when it happened so I can still use it at least...

Finally after multiple emails I got a reply from SMOK.

" 0.69 inch 96 x 16 "

Yep, that's it. Not much but at least it points me to a correct direction. I've taken my M80 apart again and took the display off this time. It revealed a some kind of serial number and I was able to establish that there are 14 connectors on the tape. When 'googled', the serial number doesn't bring up anything but there are some displays over there that look like might work.
The only other issue will be to solder it in without breaking.
Hopefully I'll be able to post some successful pictures shortly. I know that this box is not that expensive but I won't be able to forgive myself if I don't try. It was a very, very long time since I have soldered something so tiny. Good luck to me [emoji6]

There is a thread on this forum where someone's M80 died. Can't ask him yet though as I'm new member :-x
Maybe, that was me. Mine died. The site I ordered it from had me contact Smok. They replaced it for me. But took forever. The new one I received is much better then the first one I bought. The fire button reacts sooner.
