I just purchased the marshal g320 and while trying to use ss clapton wire in tc mode, when I press the fire button it just reads the temp as 77 degrees. I have checked the connections and everything is solid. I don't know what the issue is. Anything is helpful. Thank you in advance.

gonna need some more info for sure.
Are you sure the wires are all SS and not just SS core with a kenthal wrap?
is the mod set to SS mode?
is the resistance reading correct
did you select new coil
was the coil cooled down to room temp before you installed it?

Pics are also really helpfull

Yes all SS wire, ohms out same as what my 521 tab says. And I let it cool to room temp and reset it to new coil. And mod is set to SS with a TCR setting of .0096 which is what I have always heard is best for 316l

.00092 would be the correct settings for 316l but .00096 shouldn't make that big of a difference. try it at the .00092 though and see if it works
