Welcome and glad you joined.
I hear you. From the Smok ad:
"powered by a single 18650 battery" and " Snap-On Battery Cover" .
The above may inform some experienced vapers that this device does not come with a built in internal non replaceable battery. Kanger is even less descriptive. One of my pet peeves.

So I got the Smok Osub Baby but it didn't come with a battery. I thought the "instruction Manuel with a picture of a real looking battery" was an actual battery. So I tried to put my 3.7 volt in it but it wouldn't work and I'm pussed because I feel like I wasted my money. Any recommended batteries for the Smok Osub Baby?
Hi and welcome,
Tell us what and how you vape and we will be happy to point you to one of the cells listed on the Mooch chart. (@BrotherBob links above)
Do you have a local vape store?
Where are you located.

Cheers
I

Hi and welcome. Batteries can seem a bit confusing, especially as the generic 18650 battery comes in many different capacities. You need a 20A rated 18650 for it to work. It should be a name brand like Samsung, LG, or Sony. t should be bought from reputable vendors, not eBay. Here's a list of batteries recommended by Mooch, our battery expert who tests all these things.

So long as you don't go over 60 watts, I recommend a Samsung 30Q battery. Get two, that way one can be on the charger when you vape the other. If you really have to have all 80 watts, get the LG HB6. And get 4 of them and a bigger charger as you will be changing them out a lot more often. Chargers can be safely bought on eBay from sellers with good feedback, but buy your batteries from the "trusted sellers" block in Mooch's chart, above. For charger brands, thing Xtar or Nitecore. I am sorry you didn't understand the battery was not included. Smok's website does not say this specifically, but it does say the mod uses an 18650 cell, and does not list this in the parts that are included in the kit. Welcome to the board.
