I got a R-tank a couple weeks ago and had never had the chance to try it. After spending the afternoon trying every possible thing I could think of I couldn't get this thing to wick. 2-3 hits and then dry hit. Tilting did no good. Changing wick and coils did no good. I was ready to throw this thing in trash and just chalk it up to paying my NOOB tax. I decided to try one more slightly more radical fix and got the drill out. The stock wicks appear to be 2 mm. I thought I would drill it out to accept 3mm. Opened the wick holes up to 7/64ths and rebuilt with 3mm silica wick and tried it again. To my surprise it works great now. Came out at 2.1 ohms w/ 5/4 wrap of 32 ga. wrapped directly on wick with hat pin to position the wick. Great flavor and lots of vapor. Best of all I saved $10 from the trashcan. Being new at this is great, the smallest things seem like victories.
