I have an Alien and a G-Priv 220, really like both, but which I use depends on where I am and what I am doing. Alien is a nice fit in the hand and better for out and about. I love the G-Priv mostly for the touch screen and ease of menu navigation. Not sure about any negatives that @SteveS45 is referring to, but my only "complaint" if you will is the screen may be too easy to lock/unlock.

Same holds true for all the TFV tanks available. I have a TFV4, two TFV4 minis, a TFV8, a TF RTA G2, a baby beast, and a Big Baby. Obviously, I like the Smok tanks. :) Different tanks just seem to work better with different mods and moreso, different juices. But all work quite nicely. About the only suggestion I would give is to go with the Big Baby over the Baby Beast for the larger tank which is the only benefit to me. But the Baby Beast is rather nice if one wants to try different flavors somewhat regularly. I really don't know anything much about the TFV12 since the TFV8 provides everything I like at the higher power required which already limits my battery life and limits.

I guess I could have just said you can't go wrong with any of them. Pick one and enjoy! :vapor:

Some of the people I know with the G-Priv have had problems with the touch screen but that hasn't made it move down on my wish list. One complained that the touch screen was too sensitive and was having unintentional changes. Not owning one I can't say for sure what was happening and I wasn't knocking the G-Priv but relaying what I was told.

Thanks, sounds like the same thing I was referring to. With the G-Priv, locking the screen is a must as it is almost impossible to fire it without touching the large screen. But locking the screen is extremely easy (as I mentioned, almost too easy), hold the button above the firebar for at most 2 seconds. Me. with my wonky hands, can accidently hit that button when firing the mod. But once used to it, rarely happens, but worth a glance now and then.

@Neolitik : I don't know about the H-Priv other then I like the looks of the G-Priv better. Although I do not make a lot of adjustments on a mod other then watts, navigating the G-Priv menu is just so darn easy. Still 5 clicks on/off, but once on, 3 clicks locks/unlocks the mod, one button press puts it in/out of stealth mode, hold the same button for a second or so and it locks/unlocks the screen, once unlocked tapping or holding down the arrow up/down on the screen increases/decreases watts/temp, and a tap gets you into whichever other menu item you need. Worth a look in a video review.

I like the look of alot of the touchscreen mods but for me, unless it was just to use at home, I couldn't own a touchscreen for regular use. I have to have a case with a screen cover for my phone.

While I would not carry the G-Priv as a work mod, the included sleeve offers some protection as it "recesses" the screen to some degree. A bit more effort for removing the batteries (onboard charging, but I stick with the external charger only mantra), but I've become comfortable with that.
