So i finally received my smok tct tank yesterday. I was very excited to utilize the temperature control on my smok xpro m80 plus. Of course i ran into some issues right off the bat. After trying every possible combination and scenario of airflow and temperature settings i cannot get this tank to provide me with satisfying vapor production. I can definitely notice the temperature/heat difference between 400F and 600F but no matter the wattage or temperature im not getting much vapor. Honestly the vapor production is similar to a protank on an ego so im pretty unimpressed. Now what the hell is causing this? Ive seen so many positive reviews on the tct, what gives? I have read some reports that the preinstalled coil is crap, could that be my issue? I think im gonna have to try the other coil just to test it out. If you guys have any thoughts please let me know! Thanks

So i busted out my other coil and primed it extremely well, it definitely made a huge difference in vapor production. Im just finding that the tct might not be my favorite tank but still im pleased with it.
@ThunderDan
the m80 plus was fixed from the previous version and with the latest firmware update the temperature control works fine, its just no where near as good as how the dna and yihi chips preform.
I Do agree that i need a new badass TC device :thumb:

Glad its working better for you. They haven't fixed anything on it, it still doesn't do temp control, what it does is more like dynamic wattage based on a number scale. I'm not going to argue about it though, if you think thats temp control, then it works for you.

Woah dude lol dont take it personal, obviously its not a true temperature control but it makes me feel better to still call it a temp control device haha, when i get the funds i will be investing in one, but with my current budget and responsibilities it may be a little while unfortunately.
