What I do is take my coil and put some juice on the side openings. I then put a couple of drops into the coil itself. Put the coil in the tank fill it up and wait about 20 min so it has plenty of time to soak up the juice. I start out at 40 watts take a couple of primer puffs "no power". I then hit it with power for a couple of seconds. I bump up my power about 5 watts a time after a few draws. When you find your sweet spot like between 80 and 100 watts I take longer draws. I have noticed with the TFV4 sometimes it takes a couple of tanks for it to really break in and the flavor and vapor to come threw.

I don't prime them, well, in saying that, I only use the Quad coil but I have never needed to prime it, or any vertical coil for that matter, with the Crown coil being the exception.

Pop in a new coil, fill the tank and let it sit for half hour, around 5 primer pulls, start off at low wattage for the first tank, this is key to avoid dry hits. Start around 40 - 50w.
