New coil: suggest start at low watts and move up in increments to where you are getting good taste and moderate cloud. The wattage to produce the above combination is your personal wattage setting (unique to you only). Might want to let us know if you can achieve this.

This is so true. I always start very low on the power and slowly work up to not burn anything and find a good wattage level that works for me.

Thank you all for your suggestions! My solution was I used a new atomizer & increased the wattage very slowly. It took me awhile to finally get to 60W. Great news is it is not getting hot this time! I will clean out the other one I was having problems with. So far it has been a success!

The old coil was not burnt out & nothing was wrong with it. I put in a brand new coil and still reading Ohms to low. It won't allow me to use the fire button. I have replaced batteries, no luck, cleaned the unit. No luck ( there was no in need of a cleaning), shut the unit it down & started it back up several times, no luck. I have this brand new expensive device that I can't use. I can't even find the web site For I purchased this from. I am tempted to cut my loss & toss it out at this point! Thanks for your suggestions.
