Cool, was thinking titanium but hadn't looked at the maths yet. I think .8Ω to 1.2Ω would be suitable for me. Don't necessarily want a personal fog machine, but definitely want a decent cloud. & I'm sure I'll tinker around with it a good bit, if not indefinitely, ha.
a lot of tc boxes wont run that high a resistance! You need to reset your thinking fot tc vaping. Kanthal it aint!!

Been vaping my new l'I'll Treebox. Lovely little thing. I'd say the craftsmanship is a little rustic but that's part of the charm. ..and price.
Performance wise it's pretty good for a single cell mod. I wanted something small, for around 50w use on drippers. Unfortunately the samsungs I ordered with it weren't in stock and I received crappy efests instead. The Treebox will cut firing straight away when the battery can't give which is nice to know. I like watt mode and 50w with a ss dual coil setup has been as expected. I tried the temp mode but can certainly feel the temp being controlled. I don't like it but didn't buy this mod for TC.
Menu wise it's all very nice and simple. The screen is rather small but maybe I should just wear my glasses more?
Ergonomically it's a delight. Very comfy in my mits and I like the organic touch of wood. The grain and stain is maybe better than I would expect for forty quid but not up to say, a nice gunstook. Rustic, 40 notes. ...... I gave it a wax as suggested. More so to prevent leaky drippers from turning into a mouldy lump.
Regarding drippers it's probably not really ideal unless you never have leaks.
Button rattle? Not on mine.
Battery door? Yep really good.
Presentation box is fab.
All in all for a little mod that's a bit different it's nice. Very nice. Possibly not the best single cell 75w mod but quite charming and well worth being in your mod rotation.
Good one Smok. Given my TFV4 and mini are excellent too I think Smok are really getting into their stride.

If it just had updatable firmware and user programmable presets for TCR I'd be all in. Wait- I'm already all in! Too bad for me that I didn't do my own due diligence- like I've suggested others do! The good part is I actually wanted the enclosure more than the board it uses. I paid $28.71 to my door (had discount points @ GB) so I figure if I don't like the TC performance as-is, I didn't get hurt much- as long as the wood is nice. I do plan on filling the milled out lettering w/clear resin and I'll probably restain it, depending on how the factory finish looks. Wonders can be done to good wood using good finishing products and techniques- much as you eluided to w/the gunstock comment. I'll see how much smaller it can be made at that point as it's kind of big for a single 18650 mod. Photos to follow...

Hmm not so perfect now......
Lost the fire button. It just went squish instead of click. Investigation revealed that whilst the + & - buttons are part of the pcb the fire button is fitted to the case and actions against the pcb button. There are 2 sticky pads to give the travel and stop button rattle. One pad had slipped off which may be attributed to vape or leaky dripping. I repositioned the pad and clickyness is restored. Any double sided sticky pad or tape would do.
So a cautionary warning to messy drippers!
Normal happy clicky vaping has been restored
