Hi!

I bought myself a X CUBE 2 by smok a couple of months ago with the recommended batteries from the shop, that I now found to be the worst batteries in history.

So when I two months later realized the store sold me fake batteries posing to be 40A Basen batteries, that IRL could handle a maximum of 75w on the X CUBE 2 I went to a new store, after writing the old one a very very angry letter.

I ended up buying a couple of Sony VTC4 batteries 30A 2100mah, and I got them by mail today. And their now in the i4 charger.

That's when I caught my self thinking, is this enough? So is the VTC4 sufficient?

And let me apologize for my horrible English, and my insufficient forum skills. So don't go to hard on me if this is the 110% wrong place to post this.. (and I'm a vaping noob owning only an Evic-VT and a X CUBE 2, along with the standard tanks :p)

Thanks in advance! :D

Sony VTC4's are great batteries. They will handle a 30A load well. I use them in mechs and any regulated mod over 80 - 85W. I've never had an issue with them. Just make sure you get authentics. illumin.com and orbtronic.com are 2 great places to buy them. They are usually $6/ea and if one place is out the other will have them.

The VTC4s are very good batteries to use :)Another good one is the Samsung 25R.

Others will probably be along to suggest some others that are suitable but they're the ones I know/use in my mods :thumb:

Thanks for the reply :)

Thanks, yeah I'w read much about the VTC4 and have authenticated them according to the online guides :)

I'm looking into buying a couple of VTC5 30A 2600mah, are there any relevant difference except the mah?
