Havent had mine a month and today it dies and won't come back on. I had a leak on my TFV4 while it was on the cube 2 this morning due to a bad seal on the tank and I did notice the juice reached the two buttons near the screen. Tried different batteries and nothing, I call MadVapes since they now handle all the Smok warranty claims here in the U.S. And the guy says that if there is juice under the buttons then it will not be covered. What a POS, they claim the screen is liquid proof but why put buttons where they can come in close contact with juice. Anyway, I'm done buying their devices and now can go get something better, any suggestions?

I'm happy with the IPV4 D2 and a Kanger Subtank Mini. Right now, I'm using it in power mode at 40W using a dripper and it's rocking! I wonder if that's going to be a problem with the cube 2 and TFV4. A lot of people won a setup from SMOK and ECF and would hate to see them all have issues. Maybe it was just your tank had a faulty seal but the cube was alright until it got juice inside. A shame that it's that sensitive.

If you look in the TFV4 tank threads many have had trouble with leaks and those crappy seals they are using. I guess I had been lucky up till now with no leaks. I had read not to use drippers on it because of the possibility of spilling juice on the buttons so I guess now I will choose a device that I can drip with as well. I don't go over 80 watts so will take a look at some 100 watts devices and under.

That sucks, but what I find wrong is that the damn tank caused the issue and the tank is a Smoktech product, this was clearly not a user error, unless you made the seal...ofc you didn't so they should honor a warranty!....I have 2 of their products and neither work.

So the solution is to find a way to protect, or seal the buttons. I'm thinking I will uglify the one I should be getting, and use that thin adhesive band-aid type garb, what say?

I've got a Smok VTC tank, never has leaked, but the positive pin pushed inside the threads. Dangerous stuff.
Had to forge a new pin from a stainless screw, and make a new insulator / seal to boot.

It's understandable they won't warranty it since it leaked and is more user error in their eyes than a defect. It's no surprise e-liquid dripping down a device will make it stop working. I have the TFV4 and mine has never leaked.

I do have 2 Joyetech eGrip paperweights because after 6 days the piece of junks failed and I have a better change of winning the lottery than Joyetech ever helping a customer or doing warranty.

Update, good news got a call from Madvapes telling me to send it in. It seems they are seeing some failures on the chip itself and they are telling me now that the x cube 2 is designed to block out "most" juice leaks around the buttons and the bit of juice that may have got in should not have caused it to malfunction. Gonna keep my fingers crossed.

My Smok M50 works like a charm. It is lightweight and functions like it should. Removable battery with an option for onboard charging. My VCT is my favorite dual coil atty, it just uses too much power and liquid. I use it with 18 mg liquid when I want a jolt.

I am not sure why everyone thrashes them. They seem to work fine for me. Although I will say I enjoy my hcigar vt40 and stms much more. That is one smooth vape.
