Hey Brad, welcome to ECF your new addiction, jk. I was in pretty much the same boat as you but as soon as I got my first kit I was done with the smokes. vaping seems to get better and more enjoyable as you get used to your hardware and find your flavors.

As of now I can't give you much info on the Janty stick other that it has some really good reviews, but I'm sure some pros will chime in. I am awaiting my first mod, a Black Bullet and will be happy to give my review when it comes in.

Happy vapping

I hear you.
I went from 2 packs a day to one the same day I bought my first e cig. I quickly found out that a mod works a whole lot better and since I bought my mod I've gone to less than a half a pack a day. I still like to smoke analogs in the morning. I say don't worry about thew looks of a mod, rather look at the specs.

Welcome, Brad, from another Brad ;-)

The KR808D-1 cartomizers hold a good amount of juice (about 1ml) and are very convenient - you can find an adapter for your 510 battery and try them out without spending a lot of dough. I typically go through between 2 and 3 cartomizers in a day. Best of luck!

Thanks for the info...The only place I found the adapters is at Heavens gifts...but I believe it is for the atomizer to battery ...I would like to have something bigger considering the Janty Ego...or anything that is good quality and works...would be nice to interchange ect...mod is also a option just not familiar with them...once again thanks for any and all info inadvance....

You can buy a 5-pack of blank cartomizers for $7-9 at any number of suppliers. I discovered this evening that filling them with an 18-gauge syringe is the easiest way to go - I picked up some syringes at Walgreen's. Just pop the white cap off from the mouth end, remove the little o-ring, stick the syringe down to the bottom along the inside wall, and fill slowly, stopping when the batting is saturated. You can refill the cartomizers several times (perhaps over 20, if you're careful) - just don't burn them out. If the flavor drops off, or the vapor drops off, or you start to get a slightly burnt taste, it's time to refill. Once the batting is burnt that taste never seems to fully go away, so best to top off before you get a burnt taste if you can. I was a pack-a-day smoker, and a full carto generally lasts me 7 hours or more of normal use. I hear some folks saying that a carto lasts 2 hours, but they must be surgically attached to the things ;-)

I love my Janty Stick (got 2), and am tempted to get an Ego too. The JS is a vapor machine. If you get one, be sure to save the white cart cover because you'll need it to screw in your attys. I like the stick because it hides the 801 atty, and has a large cart for juice. The batteries are cheap and last several hours of heavy vaping before needing recharging. I should be a Janty Stick saleslady, or at least get some compensation....just kidding! Good luck in your search for a Mod.
