I just purchased a Smoke Free e-cigarette kit ("gold") at a local mall. So far, so good; however, I'd like to know if anyone on the forum has ever used this product and what their opinion was.

Thanks.

P. S.- I tried a search and I wasn't able to find any threads reviewing this brand.

First of all I hate to tell you this but you were, as all those who purchase mall/kiosk brands are, massively ripped off. Right away I can tell you that those are ridiculously overpriced.

I am unfamiliar with the ES012 model.

NEVER buy from the mall kiosks unless you want to overpay massively and not be able to buy replacement parts or get any customer service.

Hmm, the words 'kiosk' and 'gold' lead me to believe it is a 'smoking everywhere', but if you couldn't find that on a search, I'm confused.

If it is a SE gold, then it is a 4081 model, which is actually a decent model. (SE just sells it for too much $).

That was actually one of the models I started out with, and once I got some good juice in it, it was plenty to get me off cigs.

So chances are you have a good e-cig, you just paid more than necessary to get it.

Edit: and I would say 'welcome to the forum', but it looks like you've been here since Oct?...and just now made a purchase?...at a mall???

I don't think it matters when the poster joined. We should be welcoming and helpful. :)
I joined quite a while ago, but made my first informed purchase just a couple of weeks ago.

So, to the OP...WELCOME!

hmmm... i see it says I joined in December, 2009... I must have been here under another name in the past! Oh well...

Jeff,

The web address for my Smoke Free brand is different from the site you located, and both sites featured different packaging and addy assemblies; however, I appreciate the trouble you went to.

Neptune, thank you for your kindness. Although I first joined the forum in October, I wasn't committed to using a PV until after Christmas when I returned to the forum after having been off analogs (where did that term come from, anyway?) since September.

Ryum, wish I'd check here first before going to the mall. Because another supplier was so slow with my first order, I thought buying from a local supplier might be better in the long run. BTW, I heard about the mall supplier from a friend eons ago, so it's been there for quite a while.

Thanks to all who replied, I really appreciate the help.

Susanjane... Welcome to the forum!!! (you too nneptune) :p

After reading Jeff's posts, I'm not really sure what model you have now :?:
I'm sure if you post a pic, someone will be able to pin it down for you.

BTW: I think the term 'analog' comes from it not being 'digital'. That's always been my assumption anyway.

Did you overpay for this compared to online kits. I have never heard of them either. What kind of ecig is it. My first one was an Nipro bought from Pilot truck stop. I paid 69.00 and bought 60.00 worth of cartridges.
When compared to the price of other ecigs online this was too much. At the time I thought you had to purchase filled cartridges. I had even ordered 269.00 worth online at Njoy but before I got them I had already emailed and returned unopened. Buying prefilled cartridges would cost more than cigarettes. I have learned alot from this forum.

Thanks, highping, for your welcome. Also, thanks for telling me where the term, "analog," came from.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice the second website Jeff posted, for the Smoke Free Gold-- that's it! BTW, my Smoke Free's are working nicely, I couldn't be happier.

Hi, Martha.

I compared what I'd spent at the kiosk with the prices on the Smoke Free website, and found I'd made off like a bandit; the salesman really gave me a good deal, including a free case and atomizer. I haven't really compared my total with the prices of other brands, though.

RE buying prefilled cartridges, I really don't have the confidence to buy the juice and fill the cartridges myself; in fact, I don't even know whether or not the Smoke Free cartridges can be refilled-- I guess I'll have to lurk around this forum a little longer to figure that out.
