These are my thoughts about my visit to this B&M today (W 45th and 9th Ave).
Initial thoughts: Clean, well lit, pleasant smell of cigars, air conditioned, friendly and helpful staff.
Upon further review: They have a small selection of actual vaping supplies. They had a lot of ce4 type tanks and cheap clearos, cheap fake looking vision spinners and ego battery chinese clones. They overcharged, I understand they need to make a profit, a LOT (I paid $5 for an individual kanger coil because I needed it). I asked about specific innokin, kanger, aspire, and other items and the staff person who was helping me was absolutely lost. I have little knowledge but this guy had next to none. I had to point to an item, he read the box and went "Ohhhhh! That is what you meant" attempting to play it off like he didn't hear me. The salesperson told me for an MVP 2, with the Iclear 30 it comes with, was $100. It didn't come with the charger, case, or anything else. Their juice selection was, minus Virgin Vapor, mainly no name brand stuff.
FINAL THOUGHTS: 4/10 as a Vape store, 7 or 8/10 as a smoke shop. Really nice people, just not the best stuff. The staff was helpful and friendly, which is a redeeming feature, but utterly clueless. Don't put vape in the name of your store if you have such a small supply of vaping products. They had a huge supply of tobacco products, which is what I think this shop should stick to.
Feel free to add input if you have had similar or different experiences.
