So I got some of those colored slim tanks 3.5 mil dct from tottaly twisted and I bout some LR smoketech single coil cartos to go in them, well to make this short, the cartos are too fat to fit into the tank. It takes some muscle just to get the first end of the carto started in the tank and just will not slide all the way in. The o rings catch the carto and rip. I only manage to get one tank assembled with the smoketechs but the other 2 were a fail. Funny thing is the dual coil cartos that came with them slide in fine. Now I didn't have this problem with the slim tank I bought from cov. Any suggestions on what to do? Try the boge 50 mm? Get better tank's? I'm starting to hate these tank's and can't wait for my hh 357 and my super t drip tip to arive.

I want to assume that you aren't using the black dual coils with stickers on the outside and are in fact using sticker-less SS tube cartos. that's the first thing that comes to mind is the extra thickness of the sticker could be problematic.

If you are in fact using SS tube cartos with no black sticker, then your O-rings may have swollen. Some juices swell up rubber. I've read a few people say that to recover an O-ring from juice swelling, often a few hours in a vodka or pga bath and then letting them dry for a day is effective.

And, the last thing I can think of is that when I was using a carto tank, I was in the habit of lubing the carto with a little bit of juice before inserting it. A little lube might eliminate your problem.
