Hey everyone.. I have been vaping for a bit over a month and i have quite a few very nice devices..

Batteries:
3 KGO VV 3-6v
1 VV Gripper
3 Lavatubes
1 Provari
1 Paps Piccolo
1 7.4v Box mod

Tops used:
SmokeTech DCT using Cartomizers.. and several other cartomizer tanks
Bliss Rebuildable (using 3 coils on the provari)
Line V2 (on the Piccolo)
and alot of different miscellaneous clearomizers and such

Ive tried many different cartomizers with different tanks on different devices. Ive tried single prepunched 3 punched cartos, self punched cartos
slotting a single slot with a dremel and 2 slots with a dremel..

No matter what method of trying to use a carto with a tank.. I generally get one good tank vaped through it and on the next refill (using a tank filler that goes into the carto to avoid getting liquid directly into a cargo.. When i get about half way through that thank the draw gets very
stiff and it gets to flooding and becomes unusable.. At that point ill blow the flooded liquid out the bottom of the carto and for a shot
time ill get a decent draw but in no time at all its flooded again..

Initially i thought it was due to not enough flow from the bottom of the tank so i started pulling the tank a millimeter up off the battery to increase air flow and that helped a bit but i generally get 1 and a half tanks through a carto and its off to the trash.. can anyone make a suggestion to how to reduce flooding in a tank with a carto? I think ive tried about everything but who knows.. Thats why im coming ot you more experienced guys..

Thanks
Jaime

Could it be the carto used or maybe the pg/vg ratio? I use Ressurector cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping and dremel one larger or two smaller openings, both seem to work. With pg/vg at 80/20% mix, it works well for me. Also darker juices seem to clog my cartos faster and hence I stick with clearer juices. Hope this helps.

So far my favorite method of juice delivery is a good carto in a glass tank. Having started all this at the beginning of the Boge carto problems didnt help. I had a lot of problems at the beginning. I slotted, I punched, either dry or flooding. I finally started seeing others with problems because of the cartos helped, at least I knew it wasnt just "me". I finally figured out where to get some reliable Boges and all went well. Once in a while I do get a bad shipment of boges and I deal with it. Boge seems to finally be getting the good supply out there to the vendors.

Flooding, a few things can cause this. One may be that you are using too many or too large a hole in your cartos with thininer juice. Taking to hard of a draw will bring too much juice into your carto too quickly and it floods. If you have punched your carto too deep and compromised the centre of the carto it will flood. If your devise is set a bit to high as in a vv combined with too hard of a draw you will flood.

On the other end, even if your juice is higher in PG certain juices will clog up because of the molecular make up of the juice. This is less of a problem with commercial juices that are mostly fruity or bakery as they use mostly artificial flavourings
ingredients. The juices that are organic or natural tend to have more particulates in the juice and if you use naturally extracted tobacco or citrus they will clog up faster.

Take a look at what you are using and how you are using and try to adjust the delivery system to that. I have some atties, and some VIvi Novas, and a little Phoenix RA. I like these a lot but my go to is a carto in a glass tank.
