I have been looking into getting a carto tank, and vapor beast has them for 8.99.

How do these general perform? Is there a better option? I have no experience with carto tanks, an I actually just recieved my first cartos. I have some smoketeks, boge, and platinum cartos . So far I like the boge the most but what should I look into?

I don't have those tanks, and perhaps people who do will chime in with their experience. I will only say that from my experience some of the cartotanks in that price range may have quality control or manufacturing issues as far as fit and finish goes. You may get what you pay for. I wouldn't be surprised those tanks to have leaking issues from poor seals or warped tubes. In addition, the tube material is clear, so is more than likely made of polycarbonate plastic, which is susceptible to cracking or melting with some juice flavors. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3733-6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html

For best results, I'd pay more for a better quality tank. You didn't mention what PV you would be putting a tank on, which would have aided in my recommendation selections. Tanks that have a polypropylene tube (frosted) or best yet a pyrex glass tube are much preferred. Not only are the tubes stronger structurally, they are immune to all juice flavors.

Use the above image to determine how to match a tank to cartomizer.

I use the DCT's with 2.0 ohm Smok single-hole cartos with 70/30 juice and they work pretty well for me. Cartos last around 10 days on average for me and I'm a fairly heavy vaper. Some folks like the carto-tanks, some like the vivi-nova wicking tanks/clearos, some folks like dripping. I've always liked the clearos (like the Stardust) with my eGo batteries, so just today I ordered a Vapeonly bottom-coil wicking-type tank to see how it performs with my ProVari.
